It is our mission to provide our customers with electrical service whether they are business owners, homeowners, landlords, tenants, or general or other types of contractors, while always maintaining the standards of the National Electric Code (NEC).

Code compliant installations are our priority.  Owner Grant Lay is an Instructor for College of the Redwoods, and he teaches a variety of electrical classes including one which focuses on the NEC.

Our staff currently includes two California Certified Electricians and one electrician trainee, in addition to the Contractor/Owner and office managers.  Grant lives in Trinidad while Trinidad Electric maintains an office in Arcata and a construction yard in Manila affording us the ability to cover all corners of Humboldt County.
